Pierre Lefrançois Vérove
Pierre Lefrançois Vérove was born in 1989 and lives between Montreuil and Lille. He studied at Ensapc (École nationale supérieure d'arts de Paris-Cergy) before joining Le Fresnoy, studio national des arts contemporains in 2021. His work, films and texts focus on visible and invisible margins and the people who inhabit them. This consideration has led him to address the state of violence in Lomé, Togo (Sur la plage, 2017), to enter the field of institutional psychotherapy (La chambre de Paul, 2022) and to draw the thread of European borders between Paris and the Greek island of Lesbos (Algèbre, 2019). He is also co-founder of the experimental music label One O'clock (2010-2015) and creator of the graphic design studio Studio 602 in Montreuil.
