Having learned about her terrible illness and unavoidable death, Victoria, the protagonist of the film, decides to leave her five-year old daughter in the case of her ex-husband. However, the latter doesn’t want to accept his daughter. Her grandfather, Victoria’s father-in-law, takes care of his granddaughter after her mother’s death.
