Ex-pro cyclist Simon Richardson has caught the bug for ultra racing! After completing a ridiculously tough 640 kilometre ultra race last year, Si’s back just six months later, with the pain and suffering seemingly wiped from his memory to take on his second and even harder endurance cycling challenge. Named after the Anglo Saxon Ruler, King Alfred’s Way in the South of England is a premiere 350 kilometre circular gravel route. The ride boasts stunning scenery, but Si has no intention of stopping and taking it easy; he’s riding against the clock, non stop, on a mission to beat the current Fastest Known Time.
