At first Daffodil is annoyed with him and just wants to be in peace, but her heart soon gets the better of her and she decides to help Clifford out. Flo and Zo come over too and everyone works together to keep Clifford from being lonely so that he'll go to sleep because Emily Elizabeth will be there waiting for him in the morning.
